Enso Silicone Rings Review for 2023
How did Enso get their start?
Enso Rings was started back in 2015 by two long-time friends, named Aaron and Brighton.
One day while wearing his traditional metal wedding band while rock climbing, Brighton had an accident. His ring ended up getting caught and causing severe damage to his finger, nearly losing it.
It was this life changing event that led to the creation of Enso Rings with a single purpose – to help raise awareness about “Ring Avulsion”.
What is ring avulsion?
A ring avulsion injury occurs when a ring, normally made of metal or another hard, unbending material, gets caught on something.
This leads to either the skin around the finger being torn, and in some extreme cases lead to the entire finger coming off.
This often happens when people work with machinery, or when enjoying outdoor activities.
There are over 150,000 cases of ring avulsion each year in the United States alone.

What is an Enso Ring?
Enso Rings are some of the best silicone wedding bands made of a proprietary silicone that is much safer compared to traditional wedding bands made with precious metals.
If you’ve shopped around and other wedding band alternatives like tungsten wedding bands and wood wedding rings but they are simply not your style, then you may like the flexibility of silicone bands, especially if you enjoy an active lifestyle.
What makes Enso silicone wedding bands special?
This was demonstrated on the show Shark Tank and got the Sharks interested in investing. After applying to Shark Tank three times, and finally making it on air on October 8th, 2017, Brighton and Aaron received $500,000 in funding for a 15% stake in the business.

Our Review of 3 Popular Enso Silicone Wedding Band Styles
We purchased three classic styles – a metallic gold, dual-tone, and beveled design to test a range of rings to compare quality, materials, & design
What are Enso Rings made out of?
The rings made by Enso are made out of silicone, but some variations such as the Classic Elements band have pieces of metal worked into the mix to give that metallic shine. Because they are made out of silicone, make sure you do not have any allergies before deciding to try one.
Is the ring material comfortable to wear?
Overall the material is comfortable to wear, and likes to attract fuzz, hair, and dust.
It was difficult keeping the rings clean, and even some of our pictures still had tiny dust or fuzz particles caught on the rings because of the naturally gripping nature of these rings.
Do the rings feel strong, or will they likely break?
Each ring also feels incredibly strong, but not strong enough to stay on your finger if extreme tension is applied.
This is the purpose of these rings, but we were not able to break the rings by simply pulling on them with a lot of elbow grease.
In order of firmest to stretchiest, the Classic Elements band was not very stretchy, but did bend easily. The Bevel Design ring was stretchier, but due to the thickness of the band did not stretch very far.
Lastly the Dual-Tone Color band was the stretchiest, and most comfortable band throughout our testing.
“Heavily tested for safety and durability, Enso Rings will break when enough tension is created to snap off the finger and keep your skin intact.”

Are Enso rings true to size?
We ordered the same size ring normally worn and they all fit well. Because of the material being so stretchy, even the tighter gold style band loosened up quickly and was not causing any comfort issues.
So to answer this question, yes – for the most part, the sizing matches normal wedding ring sizing. Since Enso Rings are made out of silicone, they will be naturally stretchy.
If you’re not sure, a safe bet is to order a half-size down since the ring will stretch and form to your finger over time anyway.
Do Enso rings stretch?
Yes your Enso Ring will stretch naturally over time. At first it will form to your finger, and over time become more and more comfortable.
If you notice any discomfort, discoloring, or redness when you take the ring off, you will most likely need to resize and order a larger size.
Because of the thickness of the Bevel Style band, it was the most comfortable fit band compared to the other two, thinner bands.
What Enso ring is most comfortable to wear?
Not only is the Bevel Style band thicker, it also sticks out more, and is overall made out of more silicone so is less likely to break or snap as well, securing your investment.
This is important as Enso bands are somewhat on the pricier side, but the quality so far seems to justify the price.

Do Enso rings look like “real” wedding rings?
All three Enso Rings we tested clearly look like silicone, or a non-metallic material from close-up. From farther away, it becomes more difficult to distinguish what the exact material is.
Our bet is if you’re looking to save some money while still looking stylish, you won’t mind if anyone notices they are not “real metal”.
Besides, the entire purpose of wearing silicone wedding bands is for safety, not so much fashion. That being said, all three rings do look great on.
How closely does the metallic color match real gold or silver?
We tested only the yellow-gold colored Classic Elements band, and compared it to a real gold wedding band.
Side-by-side, the difference is crystal clear, and it becomes obvious that the material is not real gold. This is only a major problem if you plan to match your wedding band to other gold jewelry such as necklaces or watches.
If you’re a simple guy and just wear a wedding band, this is still a great option to get “the look” without spending hundreds of dollars.

Newest Enso Ring Designs
Enso is always releasing new silicone wedding band designs – see some of the latest and greatest below!
Enso Elements
The Enso Elements collection of rings was designed to mirror the traditional wedding band style across a variety of colors. The Elements collection is the ring that will look most like a precious metal, and has a high metallic shine.
Enso Ultralite
Self-described as “light as air”, the Ultralite collection by Enso is meant to stay on your finger without you realizing it’s ever there.
The simple, yet elegant design on this lightweight ring pairs perfectly with any outfit, watch, or other rings.
Despite being a light silicone ring, it is designed to last, and if anything happens it is covered under the stellar Enso warranty.
Best Enso Silicone Ring For Women
Enso Rings offers many different ring styles and designs for women, but our favorite is the Stackables collection, which can pair with any type of engagement ring.
Enso Stackables
The “Stackables” collection by Enso is truly unique and has multiple designs. Perfect if you love to mix-and-match your accessories to your outfits or workout gear.
The designs available are vast, so you should be able to find an option that matches your personality. We love the feathered design that they have and is truly one-of-a-kind.
Enso Infinity
The Infinity line of wedding bands by Enso has a silicone band for men as well as a thinner band design for women. The only real difference between the two is the thickness of the band.
The men’s band is 9mm wide, and 2.25mm thick, which is slightly thicker than usual, and has a raised inner band and infinity pattern etched throughout the outer side.
The women’s band is 4.5mm wide, and only 1.5mm thick. This makes the women’s band much sleeker and easier to pair with an existing ring.

Closing Thoughts
Depending on your style, Enso Rings is a great option for durable, dependable silicone bands.
Throughout our testing, we were impressed by the overall quality of each band. There was no color bleeding, edges and lines were sleek and clean, and we didn’t see any frills or “leftover” materials on any of the bands.
One other benefit that comes with Enso is their 100% satisfaction guarantee in case your band ever does break or snap, they will replace it for you.
Although somewhat pricey compared to other brands like ThunderFit and Saco Bands, Enso is still able to deliver the durability and quality that you expect from a silicone wedding ring.
